Founded in 1991, the University of Minnesota Masonic Cancer Center is a National Cancer Institute designated comprehensive cancer center bringing together professionals from a variety of disciplines, representing university colleges and schools and area hospitals and clinics. Members include researchers, physician-scientists, nurses, pharmacists and dentists.
Through the University of Minnesota Masonic Cancer Center and its research programs, members collaborate on investigations that improve cancer prevention, detection, treatment, and quality of life. The center also engages in community outreach and public education efforts addressing cancer.
